Premier Infusion Care is an industry leader in Immunoglobulin (IG) infusion both Intravenous (IVIG) and subcutaneous (SCIG). We are committed to providing immunoglobulin (IG) therapy for both children and adult patients with various chronic autoimmune, neuromuscular and immune deficiency disorders.

Immunoglobulin (IG) therapy, a concentrate of antibodies purified from blood plasma, helps prevent a vast number of bacterial and viral diseases, and other autoimmune diseases. It is also used in the treatment and maintenance of patients unable to produce sufficient antibodies. IG may be administered either intravenously (IV) or subcutaneously (SC) and is given via a pump.

Infusion times for IG vary but are generally over 4 to 6 hours. The time of infusion depends on the product and the method of administration.

IG is also used to treat a number of other diagnoses and disease states that are considered “off-label” including numerous autoimmune disorders, idiopathic diseases (of unknown cause) and many infectious diseases. IG has demonstrated to be very beneficial to many patients outside of the FDA approved indications. Studies and controlled trials are on-going.
